Getting Started
Gordon and his restored 1953

You have to start somewhere. When I restored my 1953 Chevy Truck I visualized the end result I desired and then
carefully planned the project. From the exact order of the reconstruction to where to purchase the necessary materials and constantly monitored that each step I took stayed true to my vision, and also the original concept of the vehicle.
Whether restoring a well worn or damaged antique or custom designing new furniture, the same careful planning must be done in advance. The questions below will help you clarify your vision and make it easier to convey your ideas to me. Please take a few minutes to think through your project prior to contacting me. It will assit me in pricing your project accurately and advising you of any options available to you and potential scheduling.

Getting Started Information:
If you have a particular piece in mind,  I can work from a sketch, picture of something similar, or a description. Perhaps it is a piece you’ve seen somewhere, but you need specific dimensions for your chosen space.
Is there another piece of furniture that the new piece needs to coordinate with? Please send a picture and brief description of this piece also.
Please consider what materials you would prefer, if you have materials such as salvaged wood that you might like included in the piece, and any specific issues that might have an effect on the piece such as it will be sitting in an area high in moisture.

When are you hoping to have the new piece completed?
Please include your phone number and the best time to call.

After design and conceptualization,
I require a materials deposit to begin the piece and the balance will be due upon completion to your satisfaction.

I will email pictures of
work in progress to ensure your satisfaction.
